As a follow up to our previous Customer Advisory regarding the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
Following meetings today with U.S. Port Envoy John Porcari and industry stakeholders, further
postponement was announced regarding the “Container Excess Dwell Fee.” With continued progress
moving containers off marine terminals, the fee will not be considered before November 29th, 2021.

Due to the COVID-19 quarantine requirements for the crews of the coastal feeders running between South China and Hong Kong waters, feeder operators announced their services will be suspended for a minimum of 6 weeks prior to Lunar New Year 2022, which is Feb. 1 -5, 2022.

Both Canada Pacific (CP) and Canada National (CN) suspended eastbound and westbound intermodal rail service due to a landslide-related mainline outage between Vancouver and Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada earlier this week.

Please be advised that due to heavy downpours and mudslides in southwestern British Columbia, there have been multiple rockslides blocking access in and out of the Port of Vancouver.

under the direction of the Biden-Harris Supply Chain Disruptions Task Force, we have been
informed they will delay the assessment of the “Container Excess Dwell Fee” until November 22nd, 2021.

As a follow up to our prior Customer Advisories regarding the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, under the direction of the Biden-Harris Supply Chain Disruptions Task Force, we have been informed they will delay the assessment of the “Container Excess Dwell Fee” until November 22nd, 2021.

We received notification from Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) that effective December 1, 2021, all cargo both Import and Export will require bullet seals (not provided by ONE NA). We ask all customers with cargo discharge in Chittagong, Bangladesh to take immediate action with this port mandated requirement. CPA can refuse to discharge or load containers without a bullet seal in place.

In a proactive effort to help alleviate congestion, ONE North America is encouraging our customers to divert inbound, local LA/LB containers to move inland by rail to IPI points. To further support this effort, ONE will be extending the waiver of the ‘Import Diversion Fee’ (Tariff rule ONEY-101.201) and related admin charges for bookings on the voyages listed in this advisory.
