Customer Advisory - Container Maintenance Charge (CMC) UPDATE

Dear Valued Customers,

Ocean Network Express (ONE) is suspending the Container Maintenance Charge (CMC) announced on July 1, 2022, for Trans-Pacific Eastbound trade. This suspension is effective immediately for cargo received on and after August 30, 2022.  As a result, billing will resume for all structural damage of containers valued at USD $500 or less.

Cargo held at North America ports of discharge due to pending CMC payment will be considered for release; however unpaid balances, including demurrage, are not waived at this time.
