Customer Advisory - Container Maintenance Charge (CMC)
Dear Valued Customer,
Effective July 1, 2022, ONE will be instituting a Container Maintenance Charge (CMC) of USD $10 per container on bills of lading to be collected at destination. This fee will cover the cost for structural container damage up to USD $500 per container (some exceptions below). Above this threshold, damage will remain subject to current billing procedures. The surcharge will apply only to containers having in-gated on or after the effective date, that are owned or leased by the carrier, and are moving under the Trans-Pacific Eastbound trade.
