Update to Export Demurrage Policy for “No Split” Bookings

 

Dear Valued ONE Customers,

Please be advised that, effective May 15th, 2026, Ocean Network Express (ONE) will update our “No Split” tariff policy for all export shipments from North America.

Current “No Split” Policy

New “No Split” Policy

When cargo moves under "no split shipment" instruction from the Merchant and the last portion of the shipment is delayed in transit due to unforeseen interruption of rail service to the load port, the Carrier shall absorb all demurrage charges to the first portion(s) of the shipment, provided the entire shipment loads to the vessel within the freetime period afforded the last delivered portion.

When cargo moves under "no split shipment" instruction from the Merchant and the last portion of the shipment is delayed in transit due to unforeseen interruption of rail service to the load port, the Merchant shall absorb all demurrage charges of the shipment, provided the entire shipment loads to the vessel within the freetime period afforded the last delivered portion.
