Update Announcement: Ports of Los Angeles & Long Beach Container Excess Dwell Fee

Update Announcement:

Ports of Los Angeles & Long Beach Container Excess Dwell Fee

Dear Valued ONE Customers,

We would like to inform you that ONE has been notified that the EDF (Container Excess Dwell Fee), which was originally filed by the Port of Los Angeles and Port of Long Beach in November of 2021, is currently being considered at the respective ports’ meetings this week for implementation as soon as April 18th due to rising dwell numbers in the harbor.

This is being acted upon with the port envoy’s recommendation and guidance under the Biden-Harris Supply Chain Disruptions Task Force.

At this time we do not have any specific implementation information beyond this; however, we request that all our customers immediately expedite the removal of any units dwelling on the port to avoid any potential EDF charges if this is implemented.

We will soon be providing more information regarding ONE’s policies and procedures on this topic.

Thank you for your serious attention to this matter. We appreciate your business and thank you for choosing ONE.

Sincerely,
Ocean Network Express (North America) Inc.
