Rail Overweight Surcharge (AGW)

Dear Valued Customer,

Please be advised of an update to the Rail Overweight Surcharge (AGW) for all DRY export cargo moving via rail transport within the United States under all trades. This excludes refrigerated cargo. The surcharge will be effective December 11, 2021.

Applicable Export Charge

For shipments moving within the U.S.

The rates for shipments of bulk or bagged agricultural products (see note), bone meal or gel bone shipped in standard, closed containers, received at the Chicago Global 4 Rail Ramp, and loading at Los Angeles, Long Beach, or Tacoma, with a destination under Rule 1.002 of this Tariff remain unchanged.
