Ocean Network Express (North America) Inc. will implement a surcharge, Compensation for Breach of Agreement (CBA), for all shipments being mis-declared. The new level will be applicable across all trade lanes and services and will be valid until further notice.

Hazardous Cargo

Voluntary amendment request made by the customer before or after the arrival at the destination due to concealing, omitting, or mis-declaring any particulars in the description of goods at the booking stage.

USD 3,000/Unit
(Container)

USD 15,000/Unit (Container)

Amendment forced by ONE who found a misalignment between the declared information during the usual checking stage for concealment, omission or misdeclaration of any particulars in the description of goods.

USD 6,000/Unit
(Container)

USD 30,000/Unit (Container)

Effective Date: 
Non-FMC regulated trades January 1st, 2023, FMC regulated trades*, Canada January 1st, 2023 (*United States, American Samoa, Puerto Rico, Guam, Saipan, Hawaii)


Note: 
1. Applicable to non-hazardous cargos with special declaration requirements, including but not limited to goods with special loading requirements, non-hazardous chemicals, and batteries. 
2. Shipment shall be declared in accordance with the designated authority’s regulations and full cargo compliance.
3. ONE has the right to withhold the goods and refuse any change(s) until the customer pays the Compensation for Breach of Agreement.
