Manual Release Fee and Courier Service
 

Dear Valued Customer,

Please be advised that effective April 1, 2022, in order to improve customer service and simplify fees for exporters from the U.S. and Canada, ONE NA will update two documentation-related surcharges.  Current exemptions to these charges will remain the same. The term “manual” refers to methods of communication (booking, document submission, release of documents, etc.) that do not include direct EDI, approved Third-Party portals, or ONE eCommerce.

  1. The BL Courier Service charge (BLC) will increase to USD 100 per B/L
     
  2. The surcharge “Telex Fee (TLX)” will become “Manual Release Fee (MRF)” and remain at USD 50.
    • Assessed during B/L rating to cover telex releases or ONE printing of originals in the U.S. An additional $50 will be added to B/Ls sent via courier service at the time of request, resulting in a total of $100 per BL.
