Hurricane Ian - Update
As communicated in various media sources, Hurricane Ian is currently moving northward and is on a path toward the west coast of Florida, It is reported that landfall on Florida’s west coast is expected in the coming days.

We would also refer you to the following updates from marine terminals and rail providers in Florida regarding disruptions to regular service as a result of the storm:
Port of Jacksonville (JAXPORT) has announced condition ZULU (port closure and suspension of operations) to go into effect on September 28, 2022 at 12:00 EST. That announcement can be viewed Here.
South Florida Container Terminal (SFCT) has issued an Alert advising that Gates will be Closed on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Alerts can be viewed through this Link.
Florida International Terminal (FIT) has also announced that the Terminal will be Closed on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Adjusted Operating Hours can be found in the Customer Advisory.
CSX Railroad has announced that Intermodal customers should expect delays for rail traffic into and out of Florida. Terminals currently impacted include:
- Central Florida ILC — Gate closed to all traffic at 2000 Tuesday, Sept. 27, with suspension of all inbound and outbound trains. Reservations are no longer available for traffic destined to CFILC.
- Tampa — Gate closed to all traffic at 0600 Wednesday, Sept. 28, with suspension of all inbound and outbound trains at that time. Reservations no longer available for traffic destined to Tampa as of Tuesday, Sept. 27.
All other intermodal terminals are maintaining normal gate hours at this time, but additional gate closures and train cancellations may be necessary.
We will continue to monitor the path and progress of Hurricane Ian as the storm progresses, and will provide further updates on service disruptions as the information becomes available.
