Notice of Surcharge Update - LWS - Update
Dear Valued Customers,
The Amazon River remains facing a severe drought which has considerably reduced the river's water volume.
As a result, the container shipping capacity across the Amazon River is being reduced. All additional port charges related to holding the containers at transhipment port will be covered by LWS charges recently announced.
We are exploring options to continue serving Manaus during the severe drought at the Amazon River, although we are unable to share any details at the moment.
We appreciate your understanding, and we will continue to work to find the best solutions while we keep updating on the development.
We regret the inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding in this regard. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact your sales account representative for additional information.
