CN Rail – Incentivizing Weekend Import Pickups

To maintain fluid & safe operations, import loads at CN Chicago (Harvey) & CN Memphis ramps must be prioritized. Reducing long dwelling import units puts CN Rail in an excellent position to mitigate high container turn times, avoid multiple re-handles & load out empties/export loads on time to meet the export cut-off at the ports. In line with the above, CN is offering relief of $150 per day for a maximum of 7 days ($1050) on any containers that have incurred storage.
